Additionally, beaches that are typically affected by strong winds in summer and fall offer more pleasant conditions during this time. Additionally, for day trips, you can visit other small islets like Chrissi and Koufonisi in the south of Lasithi, or Gramvousa and Balos in Chania, or Dia Island in Heraklion on the northern coast. These trips offer the advantage of being gentle on your skin, perfect if you’re prone to sunburn.
