\nof Crete\u2019s culture, both ancient and modern, is to walk the Ancient Ways,\u00a0<\/em>moving slowly, telling stories as we go, and connecting through body,\u00a0<\/em>mind, psyche, and spirit, with the ancestors of those remarkable people\u00a0<\/em>who live on Crete today. We will ascend Mount Ida, Crete\u2019s highest peak, and visit Idaian<\/em>
\nCave, where for thousands of years people came for initiation into the\u00a0<\/em>Mysteries of the Great Goddess. We will visit the Minoan Palaces at<\/em>Knossos, Malia, Kato Zakros, and Phaistos, and Minoan sacred burial\u00a0<\/em>grounds.<\/em><\/p>\n

We will walk the „Gorge of the Dead,“ enter the\u00a0<\/em>cave Sanctuary of Eileithyia, Goddess of Childbirth, and descend into\u00a0<\/em>Dikti Cave, the traditional birthplace of the God Zeus. We will spend\u00a0<\/em>time in the south with its colorful beaches, fishing villages, Sanctuary of<\/em>

Day 1:<\/span><\/strong> Knossos Palace and surrounding area including the \u201cLittle Palace\u201d,\u00a0 the Shrine -Tomb \u201cof Minos\u201d and the \u201cCaravanserai\u201d Guesthouse section. Visit of Heraklion Archaeology Museum and lunch break at a local restaurant.
\nDay 2:<\/span><\/strong> Mount Juktas and its sacred Sites detailed visit: Juktas Minoan Peak Sanctuary- Anemospilia three-partite Sanctuary- Fourni Cemetery- Vathipetro Minoan Winery- Minoan Palace of Archanes. Visit of Archanes Archaeology Museum. \nDay 4:<\/span><\/strong> Eilithyia Cave- The house of the \u201cTripods\u201d- Lasithi Plateau and the Cave of Zeus- Diktaion Andron. Afternoon Experiential: Grape stomping in a traditional wine press and Wine making. Lunch at a traditional restaurant- wine and raki tasting.
